Organised by the Retro Outdoor Equipment group on Facebook, The Retro Camp was a great way to start the 2019 camping season. Held over the last weekend of March it could easily have been a chilly one but it turned out to be a beautiful spring camp.
I took gear for a fairly simple camp compared to my usual set up. Just a couple of 3x3m tarps and my small fire rig.
Nothing over the top but still a good representation of what we do.
Met some great people, some of which have since joined our group.
I hope we will see them soon at one of our events like the Easter Tea Party or the Goldrush Camp.
A nice chilled out event and one for the calendar next year if it happens again.
Just right to get me in the mood for the Easter Tea Party in April.
